About the teamCue Project

Hi everyone! My name is Chuiyuan Meng, working as a Lecturer at Department of Music and Arts Technology at IUPUI.

About the project

This project, started by myself on September 2nd, is called “teamCue software suite”, which is inspired and mainly designed for the Donald Tavel Arts and Technology Center, as my colleagues constantly do virtual concerts via internet, and they are in need of a tool that can help them start the piece on time, and keep all the peers (both local and remote) in time through out the music.

The project is going to be purely built on Web 2.0 technologies, which gives it the instant and maximum compatibility compared to any other approach. All the major platforms and browsers will be supported: Windows, Mac and even Linux systems. Another benefit of utilizing Web 2.0 to build the app would be the great user experience: no installation required, with wonderful graphical user interactions.

Future Availablility

Although this project was inspired and designed mainly for my friends at TavelArts Research Center, it is definitely meant to be used by all the folks who have similar needs. When the project finishes and gets into production stage, it’ll be freely available to the public. And I’ll be providing brief technical support for educational institutions, using my spare time.

About this website

This website was designed to spread out the word and let more people know about this project, and I’ll be running it in my spare time. Any questions or suggestions regarding to the project is greatly appreciated, and I’ll try to address all of the inquiries. But respond time cannot be guaranteed. ;-)

Many thanks!

Chuiyuan
